STUDI KOMUNITAS TERIPANG (HOLOTHUROIDEA) DI PANTAI BULAGIDUN KECAMATAN BUNOBOGU KABUPATEN BUOL SULAWESI TENGAH

Abstract: Abstract: The aim this research was to know population density, spread out rule, and differences of  teripang (Holothuroidea) species in Bulagidun Beach. The method that applied in this research was survey method. The compiling data technique was sistematic transect. The data analysis was mathematic formulation by qualitative descriptive study. This research was conducted in Bulagidun Beach, Bunobogu, Buol District, Sulawesi Tengah Province. The time spent of this research was one nigth. The identification of the data was conducted at Laboratorium of IKIP Negeri Gorontalo to know specieses that found. The findings of this research were teripang (Holothuroidea) in the research area consist of 7 (seven) specieses in differences of densittty value, namely species of Holohturia scabra 0,05 ind/m2 , Holothuria discrepans 1,05 ind/m2, Holothuria hilla 0,65 ind/m2, Sinapta maculata 0,3 ind/m2, Sticopus chlorolotus 0,1 ind/m2, Opheodesoma grisea 0,25 ind/m2, and Holothuria cineracens 0,05 ind/m2. From this 7 (seven) specieses, there were differences in spread out area, namely 2 (two) specieses had the same density in spread out, 2 (two) specieses had random density in spread out, and 3 (three) specieses had colony density in spread out. The ather side, the differences species index of teripang was 0,647. It meant that, the differences species index teripang in Bulagidun Beach was lower than other.
